Siri to play music from Third-Party app

Apple is currently on a competitive spirit. To compete with its direct competitors, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant, Apple is now updating its Siri to play music from third-party apps. This project will expand the software of Siri to link with all third-party audio apps, including music, podcasts, and audiobooks. In other terms, very shortly, users of Apple can ask Siri to play their favourite track from Spotify or any separate app. As per the rumours, this feature will come to life as soon as the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS.

As per the officials of Apple, Sirikit will now add its support to the party audio apps which will include music, podcasts, and audiobooks. Thus, develops will now merge Siri directly into iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS apps. This will help the users to control the audio with just a more straightforward voice command.

As per the report of MacRumors, users of Apple will now be able to use Spotify with Siri with this new development of Apple. However, it is interesting to note that, recently, a report was filed on Apple by Spotify, which showed the concerns of the inability of Siri to play music from third-party music apps.

However, this latest update of Apple on Siri will remove all the concerns of Spotify. Finally, the users of Apple will be able to listen to their favourite track using their party audio apps. The change is expected to be made in the latter half of this year.
